About

What is the Lawnside Scholarship Club?
The Lawnside Scholarship Club was founded in 1945 to award scholarships to deserving local residents who plan to pursue higher education or trade school. Members are present and former Lawnside residents committed to helping our students prepare for, attend and complete college. The Club is tax-exempt under IRS code 501(c)(3). The Club awards scholarships to Lawnside residents and administers awards from individuals, community groups and civic organizations.
For Members of the Class of 2020
Students who have lived in Lawnside at least four years before graduating from any high school, were eligible for awards presented by the Club to students with the 2020coverfour highest grade point averages, particular career goals, excellence in specific subjects, musical, artistic or athletic talent and much more. Graduating seniors were honored July 25 at a Virtual Salute to Seniors and Awards Celebration hosted by the NAACP Camden County East Youth Council. Review a copy of the program booklet here. Printed copies will be available by request to sending email to lsc@lawnsidescholarshipclub.org. Indicate your name, address and the number of booklets you would like.
Each senior was asked to supply a portrait, a list of patrons and information about his or her plans for the future to the Club for inclusion in our luncheon program booklet.
The Club presents book awards as well. Go to the Scholarship Request Form

The Cost of Higher Education
