What is the Lawnside Scholarship Club?
The Lawnside Scholarship Club was founded in 1945 to award scholarships to deserving local residents who plan to pursue higher education or trade school. Members are present and former Lawnside residents committed to helping our students prepare for, attend and complete college. The Club is tax-exempt under IRS code 501(c)(3). The Club awards scholarships to Lawnside residents and administers awards from individuals, community groups and civic organizations. For Members of the Class of 2020
Students who have lived in Lawnside at least four years before graduating from any high school, were eligible for awards presented by the Club to students with the ![]() Each senior was asked to supply a portrait, a list of patrons and information about his or her plans for the future to the Club for inclusion in our luncheon program booklet.

To Underclassmen
The Club wants to get to know you through our mentoring program. You are never too young to start thinking about and planning for college. That means choosing the right courses and making good grades which qualify you for awards, scholarships and special recognition. Consult with your parents and guidance counselor, start reviewing colleges you’d like to attend now. The Cost of Higher Education
Tuition, textbooks and other costs of attending college continue to climb. The Club will gladly accept unrestricted gifts from the public. Tax-deductible contributions can be sent to the Club at P.O.
